South Carolina News: Lumberton Man, JAMES SPENCER BELL Sentenced on Drug and Firearm Charges

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, Robert J. Higdon, Jr., announced that United States District Judge Malcolm J. Howard sentenced JAMES SPENCER BELL, 29, of Lumberton to 241 months’ imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release. BELL, was charged in a seven count indictment filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina on August 16, 2017. On December 7, 2017 BELL pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a quantity of cocaine base and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
